The thrift store operated by St. Vincent de Paul offers a wide variety of clothing and household goods for sale to the general public. Products for sale at the store are donated by parishioners from several parishes in the Atlanta area. Volunteers are needed to sort, size and price the clothing and other goods in the store, and to help the customers. Proceeds from the store go right back to work helping the needy in the community through the SVdP societies from which the volunteers come.
This volunteer position is ideal for those who would like a set or determined schedule for offering time and talent by providing goods to the wider community at reasonable prices. The dividend is that we can help our neighbors in need, and the more volunteers from St. Michael's at the store, the larger the monthly return to our SVdP conference.
