St. Michael's provides various service opportunities. There are many more opportunities available in Woodstock and Cherokee County. It is up to each family to find opportunities other than those provided by St. Michael's.
Service Opportunities look different this year. Since most of the opportunities we coordinated in past years involved large groups we cannot offer those at this time.
So this year you need to look at them a little differently. Below is a list of non-contact or minimal contact ideas. Look around you and see who is in need.
Some of our catechists are coordinating smaller group options.
We continue to require 3 Service Opportunities per year and a Service Opportunity form is required for each one. Please go to the Service Opportunities webpage (listed on the left column) for more about the program.
The volunteers would meet every Tuesday 7-9pm in the Church and would have two live shows on Friday. (Those dates will be chosen by the group when they meet.)
All costumes are provided. Teens: come with an open heart and mind.

Every year, Cherokee Recreaation & Parks collects the following Project Valentine donations: lip balm, lotion, sticky notes, pens, markers, word searches, art or music activities, candy (sugar free and regular), and other holiday related items. Donations are made into goody bags and delivered to Empower Cherokee, which is a nonprofit organization that serves the special needs community.
Please drop off contributions to the Recreation Center, 7545 Main Street, Building 200, Woodstsock. 770-924-7768
