Sensory Friendly Events/Mass
A native of New York, Angela Logan found herself in Georgia when she was a teenager. It was in Georgia that she met and married her husband, Kelly. Together, they have two beautiful little boys. Their oldest son was diagnosed with Autism at the age of three. Angela always wanted to share her Catholic faith with her family and after her grandmother passed away, she brought her family back to the church. She soon learned that the sensory disruptions of her son’s Autism made attending mass together nearly impossible. With the Holy Spirit leading her, she took her personal struggle to the church and the Special Needs Ministry was formed. Today, she is excited to be heading up the Sensory Friendly Events and Mass. Her goal is to provide inclusion for those with sensory disabilities by removing or creating the right kinds of sensory input during mass and events.
Angela is an avid tennis player and is always looking for teams to play on. She also loves to crochet and is a hobbyist photographer. In addition to her work with the Special Needs Ministry at St. Michaels, Kelly and Angela are also sponsors in RCIA. The Logan Family typically attends the
