We use a theme-based comprehensive curriculum. We incorporate language, emergent literacy, writing, math, skills, art, movement and music and Spanish in our lessons based on the ages of the children. We use the STREAM approach in our lesson planning - we incorporate the love of Jesus into everything we teach. Our curriculum exceeds the Georgia Office of School Readiness guidelines. Our pre-K program incorporates Sightwords.com as part of our curriculum - a reading readiness program endorsed by the Georgia Preschool Association.
Will my child learn religion?
Yes. We incorporate stories, finger plays, felt board stories and dramatization in our weekly lessons on religion. Each class starts with prayer and we end our day with a school-wide prayer each day. Each class goes to the Church each week for a special lesson. We celebrate many feast days and highlight a new saint, prayer, manner and virtue each month.
Do we follow the Cherokee County School calendar?
Yes. We have all of the same breaks that Cherokee County does. We do have additional Catholic holidays that we follow as well. We will not make up any weather related or emergency absent days.

What does the registration fee pay for?
Registration fees pay for many items, including bags, folders, field trips, t-shirts, supplies, etc.
How do I pay tuition?
We accept checks or cash and we use an automated draft system to collect tuition each month. You also have the choice to pay tuition directly from your checking account or with a credit card (with a fee).
What are the qualifications of the staff?
We do not require all of our teachers to be certified, although many are. We do require that all lead teachers have some experience teaching. We also require that all staff complete 10 hours of continuing education credits in the field of early childhood or child development. Our main concern is that the teachers are loving and caring individuals.
How can parents be involved?
Parents are encouraged to be involved in their child’s class by attending special parties, being surprise readers and special events. We also need volunteers to help with office work.
What is your discipline policy?
We give our students the opportunity to take bad behavior and turn it into good behavior. We offer incentives in all classrooms and always reward good behavior. We do have a no tolerance policy to keep our classrooms safe. We keep parents informed when behavior becomes an issue with their child.
