One of the greatest gifts we are able to provide to families in need is the gift of a nutritious meal. The St. Michael's Food Pantry is stocked by the generous contributions of St. Michael the Archangel's parishioners. This food is distributed to those in need by a group of volunteers whose mission is to distribute food from the pantry when and where it is needed. Often a family may have spent the last of their monthly income to pay a utility bill and with a week before the next paycheck, find that they are out of food.
St. Michael's Food Pantry, run by volunteers, gives a week's worth of groceries so that children have a nourishing breakfast to start their day, lunches to take to school, and enough food to provide for the family meal at the end of the day.
This level of volunteering is ideal for those who may have other responsibilities that may limit the amount of time they are able to offer.
St. Michael's Food Pantry serves our community and is open to serve
