This is a beautiful Mass! During the Mass, the priests/deacons will wash the feet of 12 men from the RCIA (volunteers from the RCIA classes - 6 from our class/6 from the Spanish class), which beautifully represents what Jesus did at the Last Supper when he washed the feet of the 12 Apostles, representing the beginning of the priesthood ... sending them out as servants of the Lord to make disciples of all nations. At the end of this Mass the consecrated hosts are taken by the priest to the tabernacle in the chapel; the priest processes out followed by the choir, places the hosts in the chapel tabernacle, exposes the Blessed Sacrament for Adoration until about 10 PM. After this, the chapel doors are closed and locked.
